Using photos for inspiration

Before I make the final draft of my magazine cover I need to get inspiration from existing images of the same genre, so that I know what the most popular ways of taking images are and how to take them.

BLOCK B

In this image of Block B, they are all grouped closely together wearing similar outfits and making eye contact with the camera. I love the way they all fit together with some contrast in that the leader is wearing a red suit as opposed to the rest wearing black, but they all look close and part of the group. I like that they are not posing massively because they are a large group but they are still eye catching because they are famous. 

FEMM

I really like this image of FEMM because it shows they are a duo but does not put them in any poses; rather, it just shows their faces and their style in their appearance and the order of images. This format would fit really well as a double page spread because it is simple yet it shows everything it needs to.

HYUNA

This is an effective photo of Hyuna because she has her head tilted up but is looking at the camera, which gives an air of innocence. There is brightening on her skin to highlight her face and attract readers to see it and she fills most of the photo to show she is the important feature of the image despite the coloured background.
