This is the prototype for my music magazine. I used inspiration from existing magazines of my genre, such as Céci and K-Pop Girls, to give me ideas for layout and colour scheme. I used the title "Pop! Korea" as that was chosen in the survey and the design was the better of my two attempts. I used an existing image of Korean duo "FEMM" as my cover image and made up my colour scheme from there. The layout itself is fairly simple but it includes everything a potential reader will look for such as having featured artists in the cover lines and advertising someone's new music. To improve on this I would refine my colour scheme and fill blank spaces where necessary.

Front cover prototype
In this first prototype of my magazine I have shown the layout and the intended style of the main image. The masthead is in the biggest font and at the top and centred to be clear to the audience. The coverlines and snippets are down the left side as they are not as important as the main article but are still worth showing on the page. The actual artist title is in the bottom right away from the coverlines as I want it to be easily distinguished as the main article.
