Many magazines exist currently that fit to the genre; here are the names of some:
- Céci
- Kpop Girls
- Popcorn
- Kpop Life
The font used for the title of a magazine is chosen carefully to make sure it has the right look for what it is advertising in terms of magazine genre.
FONT: K-POP LIFE
K-POP GIRL's title is entirely in capital letters across the top of the page where the masthead is typically situated, making it easily identifiable to potential readers. The bright pink colour follows the stereotype of pink = girls, instantly proving their target audience both in the title and the attractive font colour. It is also designed with a sparkle effect, another convention that female-targeted texts use to give readers an idea of the theme of the content. The colour scheme and size of the masthead stand out against typically plain designs in music magazines, which will attract readers.
FONT: CÉCI
Similarly to K-POP GIRL, pink is used as the font colour for the CÉCI though it is a more magenta shade, following the colour scheme of the rest of the page. Céci's font is thin and long, taking up a large amount of room as a masthead- however this is effective because it is behind the main image. Céci as a title is very so there are large spacings between the letters which is attractive to potential readers for being bright and obvious on the page. The magazine is already popular so having such a recognisable header means a potential reader can spot what they are looking for easily and buy it.
